This fence repair and restoration was a major overhaul. All the top boards were replaced in addition to the complete pergola over the entry door. Many trim pieces needed to be replaced including all trim at the bottom of the fence as well as several shadow boxes covering the posts.

The fence was washed with wood cleaner, then power washed and eventually stained by hand on the inside and spray painted on the outside. The boards on top of the fence were painted with an exterior paint instead of stain as they are pressure treated and the stain required multiple coatings to create the desired result.

The fence is approximately 180 feet long and we spent about 6 gallons of deck cleaner and 13 gallons of stain. Approximately 225 manhours was spent on the restoration.
