The client wanted to have a sitting area in the backyard. There has previously been some construction at this place in the backyard which was partly filled with rock making it very hard to dig, therefore the decision fell on making a floating deck with footers on top of the ground.

The deck measures 12*12 feet to make it simple for construction. I used Trex for deck boards to facilitate maintenance.
