The wall in the breezeway had moved, compromising the opening and closing of the Dutch door in the breezeway between the garage and the house.

It turned out that the bottom plate in the wall had rotted and the nails in the concrete were rusted and had broken causing the wall to move over time.

New bottom plates in treated wood were screwed into the concrete to restore the wall.

The trim and door were painted, a new lock installed and the door was back to function.
